ABOUT THE AUTHORS

Brian Weisfeld is a youth entrepreneurship advocate and author who has been an entrepreneur his entire life. As a kid, he sold gummy bears and mixtapes. As an adult, he helped build a number of well-known billion-dollar companies, including IMAX Corporation and Coupons.com. Then he saw his older daughter struggle to sell Girl Scout Cookies and was inspired to start a movement to get kids to open their first businesses so that they can learn how to think like entrepreneurs (more comfortable with risk, less afraid to fail, etc.). Brian is the co-author of The Startup Squad book series and the Founder of The Startup Squad Foundation, an initiative to teach entrepreneurship to girls in underserved communities.
